NCI students have access to some excellent sports & recreation facilities; details of which are provided below.
Registered students and members of clubs and societies have easy access to a range of discounted premier sport and recreation facilities in Dublin city. From the exception of the pay as you go facilities for individual students, all other sports facilities are available upon club or society request and submitting a booking form.
Additionally, clubs and societies have access to the NCI bus, internal class rooms, theatre rooms, atrium, and external quad area, which are also available through our booking process.
SV Fitness Club
All full-time registered students have annual membership to the state-of-the-art health club adjacent to the College car park. Membership is valid from 1 September to 31 August each year, upon presentation of student card.
Facilities in this well-equipped gym include:
- Free weights area
- Group fitness and spinning classes
- Large range and selection of equipment
- Massage sports therapy centre
- Steam room, sauna and changing area

Clontarf Sports Pitches
These pitches are within walking distance of the IFSC and consists of a multi-synthetic, floodlit sports complex, including one full-size GAA pitch, one full-size soccer/rugby pitch and a seven-a-side training pitch complete with changing rooms and shower facilities.
Gloucester St. Sports Centre
This centre is within walking distance of the IFSC and offers a multi-purpose sports hall, and studio room for martial arts and boxing.
Markievicz Leisure Centre
This centre is within walking distance of the IFSC and offers a gym and aerobics studio and a six lane 25 metre pool.
Sportsco Leisure Centre
This centre is within walking distance of the IFSC and offers a six lane 25 metre swimming pool, racquet courts, multi-purpose sports hall and all weather soccer pitches.
