Dublin has direct connections from many major international airports. If there is no direct flight available for you to Dublin, you should look to connect through one of the following airports - Amsterdam, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London Heathrow or Paris.
You should also check if you require a transit visa for the country you will be travelling through. Some countries, such as the United Kingdom, ask for transit visas for certain nationalities even though the stopover is for a few hours.
Also confirm with your travel agent or the airlines for extra baggage benefits/allowance that may be available for students.
